Proceeds from this event support the programs of Junior Achievement and the Big Buddy Program.

Junior Achievement is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing nonprofit organizations dedicated to preparing young people for success. Our mission is to inspire and prepare students to succeed through programs focused on financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

By connecting the business community with local schools, JA brings real-world learning experiences to students through trained volunteers and hands-on programs. Each year, Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge serves nearly 25,000 students across grades K-12, supported by more than 310,000 volunteer and mentor contact hours that help inspire future success and strengthen our community’s workforce.
Big Buddy is a local non-profit youth agency that provides role models and quality learning experiences to over 500 disadvantaged youth weekly. For 40 years Big Buddy has provided youth with positive adult role models through mentoring programs, character education and leadership sessions, after school programs, holiday camps, summer enrichment programs, and workforce development programs.
